‘Mandalorian & Grogu’ Gets New Action Packed Trailer

He’s no longer just a bounty hunter, but now he’s fighting for the New Republic. After a first look, and a teaser at the Super Bowl, a new trailer has been unveiled for Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian & Grogu

After helping to take back Mandalore from the fractured Empire, Din Djarin, otherwise known as The Mandalorian, has been recruited by the freshly minted New Republic. With the help of his small ally, Grogu, he must carve a path through the treacherous criminal underworld, follow the trail of Imperial remnants, and put an end to them before the galaxy can come under their control again.

Pedro Pascal returns to not only voice Mando, but, as the new trailer shows, will be portraying the character without his helmet once again. Part of the trailer showcases him having his helmet taken off against his will, which comes as a major shock to fans, given the strict policy his upbringing has against removing his helmet.

On top of all the other action shown off, the trailer also gives a new glimpse at several refining characters. A better look is given to Rotta the Hutt, voiced by Jeremy Allen White, as he goes hand-to-hand with Mando. Also shown off is the bounty hunter Embo, a character who originated in Dave Filoni’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Rotta also originated from the same show, with Dave Filoni being the link between them, as he’s on board as writer and producer for Mando & Grogu.

Starring alongside Pascal is Sigourney Weaver, Steve Blum, Jonny Coyne, and Amy Sedaris.

The Mandalorian & Grogu hits theaters May 22nd. Check out the new trailer below.
