M. Knight Shyamalan Adds Three More Actors to All-Star Cast

M. Knight Shyamalan has teamed up with Universal Pictures for his latest thriller film and has added three new cast members to the lineup. Shyamalan is a prolific writer-director whose previous work includes The Sixth SenseSplitGlass, and Unbreakable. Shyamalan was even previously nominated for an Oscar for best director and best original screenplay for The Sixth Sense. 

Shyamalan’s latest project has mainly been kept under wraps, but like his previous work, he will write, direct and produce this latest horror/thriller film. A title or plot details have not yet been released to the public. 

The majority of the cast for the upcoming horror film has been announced, including three new names that have been recently added to the list. Abbey Lee (Mad Max: Fury Road, Lovecraft Country), Ken Leung (Lost, Rush Hour), and Nikki Amuka-Bird (Avenue 5Jupiter Ascending) will all appear in Shyamalan’s upcoming film. 

Additionally, the cast will consist of Thomasin McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit), Aaron Pierre (The Underground Railroad), Eliza Scanlen (Little WomenSharp Objects), and Alex Wolff (Hereditary). 

There has been no word on when the production will start on the film, but it has no doubt been delayed by the coronavirus and social distancing precautions.
