As if the upcoming horror anthology film, Tales of Halloween didn’t already have enough directors attached, Twitch recently announced Lucky McKee will contribute to the project. Though McKee hasn’t yet had any mainstream hits, his indie-horror films have been popular with fans of the genre. His 2002 film, May told the story of a shy and socially awkward young woman who kills and butchers people so she can create the perfect friend. He has directed adaptations of horror author, Jack Ketchum’s novels: 2008’s Red, and 2011’s The Woman. In 2013, McKee collaborated with Chris Sivertson (I Know Who Killed Me) on the horror-satire, All Cheerleaders Die. Tales of Halloween is set for a 2015 release (presumably around Halloween), and will feature contributions from Darren Lynn Bousman (Repo! The Genetic Opera) and Neil Marshall (The Descent).
