Lili Reinhart Creates Chemistry With Tom Bateman In ‘The Love Hypothesis’

The Love Hypothesis, a book written by Ali Hazelwood, is getting a movie that premiers on Amazon September 23rd. The plot centers around Olive, played by Lili Reinhart(Riverdale) faking relationship with Adam, played by Tom Bateman(Murder on the Oriental Express).  The movie is supposed to be a romantic comedy that dives in to the idea of what it means to love someone. Reinhart’s character, Olive, faces an inner conflict about what is and what isn’t real in this relationship she creates with Adam . In a Cosmopolitan exclusive interview, Batman says, “One of the most enjoyable parts of making this film was how well Lili and I got on and how that informed our on-camera chemistry.” Reinhart and Bateman are joined by Rachel Marsh(Fallout) who plays Ahn, a friend of Olivia who falls for Olivia’s crush, Jeremy, played by Nicholas Duvernay(The White Lotus). This crush is was sets the plot in motion, as Olive tries to convince Ahn that she has moved on from liking Jeremy. From there she sets her eyes on Adam who is a Professor with a bad reputation of being difficult. The film, directed by Claire Scanlon(Set It Up) and written by Sara Rothschild(Sleepover), is exclusively premiering on Prime Video.
