Leslie Odom Jr., Frieda Pinto, and Orlando Bloom to Star in John Ridley’s ‘Needle in a Timestack’

John Ridley (TV’s American Crime) will be directing sci-fi drama that will star Leslie Odom Jr., Frieda Pinto, Orlando Bloom, and Cynthia Erivo.

The drama, Needle in Timestack, is adapted from a Robert Silverberg short story about a couple struggling to hold their marriage together in a world where time travel exists.

Leslie Odom Jr. is best known for his roles in Hamilton and Murder on the Orient Express. Frieda Pinto starred in Slumdog Millionaire and the upcoming Mowgli. The revival of the musical The Color Purple featured Cynthia Erivo, and Orlando Bloom is best known for his roles in Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings. He will be appearing in the Amazon miniseries Carnival Row.

John Ridley is also executive producing Needle in a Timestack. He is best known for producing 12 Years a SlaveThree Kings, and the television miniseries American Crime

No release date has been set for Timestack.
