Lady Gaga Set To Appear In ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’, Spotted On Set In Milan, Italy

Lady Gaga will appear in The Devil Wears Prada 2 in an undisclosed role, Variety reports.

Based on a novel by Lauren Weisberger, The Devil Wears Prada follows Andrea “Andy” Sachs, an aspiring journalist who lands a job at Runway, a prestigious fashion magazine, only to find herself under the thumb of its nightmarish editor, Miranda Priestly.

Starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, the film was released on June 30, 2006, earning positive reviews with 75% Certified Fresh Rating on Rotten Tomatoes and grossing $326 million worldwide.

The sequel began production on June 30th, with all four actors returning. New additions to the series include Kenneth Branagh as Miranda’s husband, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, and Simone Ashley, with Tibor Feldman and Tracie Thoms returning from the first movie.

The plot will reportedly follow Priestly as she tries to navigate the decline of traditional magazine publishing and has to face her former assistant, Emily, now a CEO, to acquire badly needed funds.

Now, Gaga has been spotted with the cast members on set in Milan, Italy. The appearance comes in the midst of an already jam-packed schedule for the music superstar as she released her latest album, Mayhem, and hosted Saturday Night Live in March, headlined Coachella and kicked off her Mayhem Ball Tour in July, and recently appeared in the second season of Netflix’s Wednesday.

In addition to Lady Gaga, celebrities such as Donatella Versace, Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum, Ciara, Sydney Sweeney, Ashley Graham, Karolina Kurkova, Jon Batiste, Marc Jacobs, Kara Swisher, Molly Jong-Fast, Tina Brown, Calum Harper, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Amelia Gray Hamlin, Anok Yai, Paige DeSorbo, and Alek Wek are also set to make a cameo.

David Frankel, Aline Brosh McKenna, and Wendy Finerman have returned for the sequel as director, screenwriter, and producer, respectively.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is scheduled for theatrical release on May 1, 2026.
