Film legend Clint Eastwood, known for lending his acting talent to films like The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly and Gran Torino, has been directing feature films for many year, but it seems as though his career is winding to a close. Juror #2 is rumored to be the final film for the 92-year-old actor/director, and it has just found the final piece of its main cast in the form of Kiefer Sutherland.
Sutherland is known for his work in such classics as Stand By Me and The Lost Boys and has found recent television success in Designated Survivor and Rabbit Hole. Given his work in other serious roles, he could lend himself well to Eastwood’s newest film.
Juror #2 will follow a juror taking part in a murder trial, but it’s revealed that he might have been responsible for the victim’s death. He balances between owning up to the truth or manipulating the jury to see if he can win his own freedom. Alongside Sutherland, Nicholas Hoult will star as the juror, Toni Collette as the prosecutor, and Zoey Deutch.
Whether or not this will be the final film from Clint Eastwood is still a hot topic, but regardless of that, the status of the talents involved is one that no one would be able to dispute, and Kiefer Sutherland only adds to that reputation.
Juror # 2 does not have a set date yet but is shooting for a release date within 2023.
