Kevin Feige spoke on wrapping Avengers: Doomsday in a recent video commemorating Hot Toys’ 25th anniversary, revealing that the last day of this globally anticipated film was “very emotional.”

The video was posted to the official Hot Toys’ Instagram a few days ago, with Feige celebrating the toy company for its 25 years of craftsmanship that includes more than a few Marvel superhero collectibles, saying,

“Hello, everyone. Kevin Feige here, from the set of Doomsday. Today’s actually the last day, so it was very emotional. There were a lot of hugs on the last day of principal photography of Avengers: Doomsday, but I had to stop and say ‘congratulations,’ and thank you for 25 years of Hot Toys.

Feige already announced that filming had wrapped back in late September, and the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has begun to be shown in theaters ahead of one of  2025’s biggest features, James Cameron’s Avatar Fire and Ash. A confirmed number of iconic superheroes will be back on the big screen for Doomsday, with the biggest stars expected to return being Robert Downey Jr., who will bring to life the feature’s main antagonist, Doctor Doom, and Chris Evans, who has been confirmed to return as Steve Rogers.

Within the next couple of weeks, MCU fans can anticipate several, specifically four, more Doomsday trailers, with theories predicting each will focus on an aspect or character of the movie. Per MovieWeb, the rumors predict that the first trailer, now playing in theaters, focuses on Steve Rogers; the second will center on Chris Hemsworth as Thor; the third will introduce Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom; and the fourth will serve as a “general teaser.” The schedule of release positions each trailer “ahead of Avatar: Fire and Ash for a week at a time” before switching to one of the other trailers.

Presently, there is no date for when these trailers will be released online, but the signs point to sooner rather than later. Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released in theaters on December 18, 2026.
