Kerry Washington, star of TV’s Scandal, is reportedly in talks to join the upcoming Warner Bros. thriller Unforgettable, according to Variety. Washington would potentially join actress Kate Hudson (the upcoming Rock the Kasbah), who is also rumored to be in early negotiations for the film.
The film will mark the third feature directorial outing for Amma Asante (Belle), whose 2004 feature debut A Way of Life won her the BAFTA award for best debut by a British filmmaker.
The story revolves around a man whose new wife (Washington) is caught in a war with his ex (Hudson). The script was penned by first-timer Christina Hodson.
While continuing her starring role as D.C. “fixer” Olivia Pope on the ABC hit Scandal, Washington will next be seen on the big screen in the rom-com Is He the One? Hudson’s Kasbah, with Bill Murray and Bruce Willis, is eyeing an April 2015 release.
