Criticisms of the original 2017 cut of Justice League have still persisted despite the announcement of the Snyder Cut being released. However, some new criticism has surfaced regarding the film, this time from the film’s very own star. As Ray Fisher, the actor who protrayed Cyborg in the film, called out Joss Whedon for unprofessional behavior during the production of the film.
Ray Fisher made this accusation on his Twitter account. He stated that “Whedon’s on-set treatment of the cast and crew was gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable.” Fisher added that this behavior was enabled by the film’s producers, Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. However, the actor did not go into detail into what exactly Whedon had done during the production of the film.
This is not the first time in recent memory that Ray Fisher made a jab against Whedon. A few days prior Ray Fisher also shared a video on his twitter account of him during the Comic Con panel from 2017 in regards to upcoming film. In the video he was expressing his love and respect for Whedon, however when posting the video he captioned it as, “I’d like to take a moment to forcefully retract every bit of this statement.” It is clear that there is some tension between Fisher and Whedon and we could see more out of this in the coming days.
