Some familiar faces have officially made an appearance in the official trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion. After a year-long delay due to the pandemic, the final chapter in the Jurassic World trilogy is finally on its way.
The film was initially set to be released in June 2021, but Universal pushed it back to this year after the pandemic caused production delay. Until now, fans have only seen a few images that tease the return of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
However, this trailer reveals the return of the original Jurassic Park trio: Sam Neill as Alan Grant, Laura Dern as Ellie Sattler, and Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm. The film, which is the third directed by Colin Trevorrow, takes place four years after 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, where dinosaurs now run freely among our society. With this gap in time, the trailer teases how humans have adapted to living alongside dinosaurs.
As seen in the trailer, not only do classic dinosaurs like the T-Rex make an appearance, but plenty of other new dinosaurs make an appearance as well.
Jurassic World: Dominion will be hitting theaters on June 10, 2022. Check out the official trailer below:
