Judy Greer to Possibly Play in ‘Tomorrowland’

Not much is being leaked about the plot of Brad Bird’s (The Incredibles, Ratatouille) upcoming sci-fi  Disney film Tomorrowland, but casting news has definitely stirred up some excitement. Britt Robertson (Dan in Real Life, Life Unexpected), Raffey Cassidy (Snow White and the Huntsman, Dark Shadows), Hugh Laurie, and George Clooney are already attached to the project, and now it seems Judy Greer is in talks to join as well. If things work out, Tomorrowland will be a reunion for Greer and Clooney who have worked with each other on films such as Three Kings and The Descendants.

Brad Bird, whose films ‘The Incredibles’ and ‘Ratatouille’ both won Oscars

The screenplay was written by Bird, Jeff Jensen (Velocity), and sci-fi scribe David Lindelof (Prometheus). As mentioned, the plot is being kept tightly under wraps, but word is the film follows a young girl (Robertson) with “a keen understanding of technology who tries to reclaim her life.”

Bird is planning to start shooting by the end of the month, and the movie will be released on December 12, 2014.
