Jon Tenney will officially be joining Helen Hunt in the upcoming film I See You, according to Variety.
The film will be directed by Adam Randall, and the script was written by Devon Graye.
I See You is being called an indie horror-thriller. The plot revolves around Hunt’s character, a detective who goes through tremendous amounts of difficulty and strain that she loses control of. Tenney is set to play the husband opposite Hunt’s tortured character.
Tenney is currently working on his role in season three of the HBO hit series True Detective. Just after he wraps up his work on the show, he will travel to Cleveland to begin production alongside Hunt and Randall.
Tenney can also be seen in the 2018 film The Seagull alongside cast members Elizabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird), and Annette Bening (The Kids are Alright). Hunt has been fairly active as well, featuring in two films this year: The Miracle Season and Candy Jar. We can assume that the film will either be released late this year or sometime next year.
