Jon Hamm Joins Edgar Wright’s ‘Baby Driver’

Emmy winner Jon Hamm (Mad Men) has joined Edgar Wright’s latest film Baby Driver starring Jamie Foxx (Horrible Bosses 2), Lily James (Cinderella), and Ansel Elgort (The Fault in Our Stars).

The film follows a young getaway driver (Elgort) who credits his success to a specific music playlist. The driver is convinced to work for a local crime boss and gets involved with a heist clearly doomed from the start. Hamm’s role has yet to be revealed.

Hamm is currently enjoying a post-Emmy win career. He’s currently filming the Greg Mottola (Adventureland) comedy Keeping Up with the Joneses. He’s also starring in the upcoming thriller High Wire Act and the drama Marjorie Prime. Hamm joining the project certainly diversifies his filmography, the actor more recently starred in Minions and the Netflix comedy series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp. Hamm also headlined the 2014 feature Million Dollar Arm.

Baby Driver is set to release March 17, 2017. We’ll have more on the project as it releases.
