Joe Jonas, Daren Kagasoff and Spencer Neville are set to join the cast of the Korean War drama film Devotion, Deadline announced. Others to star in this true story include Nick Hargrove, Thomas Sadoski, Johnathan Majors and Glen Powell. Shooting will begin in February in Savannah Georgia, with J.D Dillard as the director.
Based on Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship and Sacrifice, it tells the story of the two most famous U.S. Navy pilots, Jesse Brown and Tom Hudner, who are put to the test after being shot down behind enemy lines.
Jonas and Neville will be playing members of the 32 squadron as Kagasoff plays a squad member who know Hudner from when they were younger while Sadoski plays the squad’s head leader.
Jonas was part of the sensational boy-band Jonas Brothers with his two other brothers in the 2000s. The singer is not new to being in front of the camera, as besides music video, Jonas also starred in the Disney Channel original Camp Rock but Devotion may be his first drama movie. Kagasoff starred in the ABC teen drama television The Secret Life of an American Teenager and also appeared in Ouija in 2014. Neville, an up-and-coming actor has appeared in TV shows such as Ozark and Good Trouble.
