The Andrea Iervolino Company has released the first trailer for Maserati: The Brothers, an Italian motorsport biopic set in the early 19th century. The film follows the Maserati brothers, played by Michele Morrone, Salvatore Esposito and Lorenzo De Moor, and their attempts to build a car to win the famous Indy 500. Al Pacino plays businessman Vincenzo Vaccaro, one of the earliest backers of the Maserati brothers in their dream.

The film is directed by Robert Moresco.  He has directed a handful of films, including Lamborghini: The Legend starring Frank Grillo. He also produced two Best Picture winners: Crash and Million Dollar Baby, the former of which he also penned the script. The Andrea Iervolino Company has now produced three Italian racing biopics, those being this film, the aforementioned Lamborghini: The Legend, and Michael Mann’s Ferrari. The company already has another one in the works, that being Bugatti from Andrea Iervolino.
