EuropaCorp has added Jennifer Garner (Danny Collins) to the cast of the upcoming Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black 3) comedy Nine Lives, according to Deadline. Garner joins Kevin Spacey (Horrible Bosses 2), Christopher Walken (The Jungle Book), and Robbie Amell (The Duff) in the movie, which centers on a work-obsessed businessman (Spacey) who becomes trapped in the body of his family’s cat.
Garner will play Spacey’s wife in the movie. Most recently, she starred as an overprotective mother in Men, Women and Children and was also in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day. She can be seen next in the music comedy Danny Collins and will also star in the surfing dram The Tribes of Palos Verdes.
Sonnenfeld’s last project was 2012’s Men In Black 3. Since then, has been working on television projects and is set to direct Project Alpha. He is also producing the upcoming sequel Enchanted 2.
No release date has been announced for Nine Lives. The project is a rare comedy for Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp, which specializes in action moves such as the Taken series.
