Jaime Lee Curtis Hints at Showdown in First Look at ‘Halloween Kills’

After Michael Myers returned in 2018 with Halloween, fans knew that it was not going to be the last time we see him. In 2020, fans will get the next chapter in the Halloween franchise with Halloween Kills. The film will continue from where the last film left off with Jamie Lee Curtis returning as Laurie Strode. In the mix of the October season and the film being only a year away, Curtis released a picture on social media to give fans an idea on what they’re in for next year.

In the photo, Jamie Lee Curtis is seen with bruises and dirt from a costume makeup artist. She captioned the photo with, “NEVER SAY DIE, First day back in the battle for my life”. Of course the actress did not reveal to much about what exactly will happen in the film, but it is to certainly imply that her next face off with Michael Myers will be the most brutal battle yet.

The recent 2018 revival of Halloween was fairly well received by fans and critics of the franchise and this sequel from David Gordon Green is certainly aiming for a similar feel. Fans are getting hints that Laurie Strode’s fight with the mysterious killer will be incredibly brutal, and that this sequel might be the most violent film in the Halloween franchise yet. Fans have a lot to look forward to as they anticipate the upcoming battle between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers.

Halloween Kills is set for release October 16th, 2020.

Ryan Pineda: When it comes to film, animation, video games and other mediums, I can discuss for hours about how much on why certain films and animated media made me the person I am today. I adore the artistic merit that comes from a lot of pop-culture media and will definitely love to have a conversation about favorite movies any day! I have graduated in 2017 with a BA in Film and Television at the University of Arizona. Been passionate about writing about films due to always having an interesting outlook on the medium. Will always see a film and will definitely be sure to recommend it to someone that I know for a fact would love that movie. Not only that but will also give reasons for why I think that film did or did not work as a movie, and the same can go for other pieces of media like television, video games and especially animated projects.
