‘Hostiles’ Trailer Starring Christian Bale

The new trailer for Hostiles has just hit the internet! The film, which is set way back in 1892, is billed as a western. While the movie isn’t currently in theaters, it is on the film festival track and screened on September 2nd for the Toronto Interational Film Festival. Christian Bale (The Prestige) will perform the role of the protagonist, whose physical journey creates the progression of action in the movie.

Bale certainly has involved himself in many action-heavy films, considering the Nolanverse Batman trilogy alone, as well as his roles in Terminator Salvation and Exodus: Gods and Kings. In the near future, he will also be playing Dick Cheney in an upcoming biopic film. There, he will be joined by Amy Adams (Big Eyes) and Sam Rockwell (Moon).

In Hostiles, however, he shares a roster of costars that is just as impressive. He will be working with the extremely versatile and talented Rosamund Pike, who made huge impression as the scheming Amy Dunne in Gone Girl. They will be joined by Adam Beach (Flags of Our Fathers); Timothée Chalamet (Call Me by Your Name); Ben Foster (Hell or High Water); Jesse Plemmons (Black Mass); and Wes Studi (Avatar), whose role is essential to the film, as he is playing the character who Bale is protecting.
