According to ScreenRant, Henry Cavill confirmed that Netflix’s upcoming sequel, Enola Holmes 2 has wrapped-up filming. Directed by Harry Bradbeer, the film is an adaptation of the young-adult novel series, The Enola Holmes Mysteries.
Millie Bobby Brown stars as the titular teenage sister of Sherlock Holmes as she embarks on a crime-solving journey to search for her missing mother. The first installment was a major hit for Netflix and has acquired a fanbase that made the sequel inevitable. The sequel was announced in May with several of the cast members returning.
Cavill recently posted on his Instagram that he had wrapped-up his last day of filming for the Enola Holmes sequel. The post was a video of Cavill addressing his fans while walking around at night after a run. He mentions his last day of filming, and confesses how he spent the entire day thinking of reasons why he shouldn’t go for a run. In spite of his mental attitude, he ultimately went out to the dark and did the run, claiming he feels better for it, and encourages fans to do the same.
It’s still unknown how significant Cavill’s role will be in the next installment of the series, since he was a minor inclusion in the first. Hopefully, fans will not have to wait long for more details on Enola Holmes 2.
