In the comics, the Iron Man look-alike Mainframe is an alternate version of the character the Vision (played by Paul Bettany in the Avengers films) that has become the computer operating system of an entire planet. Actor Jeffrey Combs previously voiced Mainframe in Disney XD’s Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.
During a press conference for the film, Feige asked Gunn, “Have you told anyone who Mainframe is?” Gunn answered with, “I haven’t told anyone, yeah. Should we? Oh, I think I actually did. I blew it. I told one person.”
Feige replied, “It’ll get out”.
