Actors Andrew Bachelor and Scott Glenn have been added to the cast of the upcoming STX disaster film Greenland starring Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin. According to Deadline, Ric Roman Waugh will be directing the film based on a script compiled by Chris Sparling and Mitchell LaFortune. Roger Dale Floyd was also recently signed on to the film after recently appearing in the The Shining sequel, Doctor Sleep.
The film follows a family’s struggle for survival in the natural disaster.
Basil Iwanyk of Thunder Road Films will serve as the film’s producer alongside Butler and Alan Siegel through their G-BASE production company.
Bachelor has a heavy slate films he will be appearing in soon, including two upcoming Netflix films entitled Coffee and Kareem starring Taraji P. Henson and Ed Helms, Holidate featuring Emma Roberts and Kristin Chenoweth and an upcoming IFC variety sketch series created by John Legend entitled Sherman’s Showcase. He also recently starred in instant hit To All the Boys I Loved Before.
Glenn’s recent catalog includes The Defenders, The Leftovers, and Castle Rock. Glenn previously appeared in a handful of acclaimed films Urban Cowboy, The Silence of the Lambs, Training Day and The Bourne Ultimatum.
Bachelor is currently represented by UTA while Glenn is managed Innovative Artists, Talent and Literacy Agency Inc.
Greenland does not have a release date yet.
