Lionsgate and Codeblack Films have released a trailer for the upcoming erotic thriller Addicted. Sharon Leal stars as a successful businesswoman who starts an affair with a mysterious artist. Ernie Barbarash and Christina Welsh adapted the screenplay from the novel of the same name by Zane. Billie Woodruff will direct, Boris Kodjoe and William Levy also appear.
Successful businesswoman Zoe Reynard (Sharol Leal) appears to have attained it all – the dream husband she loves (Boris Kodjoe), two wonderful children and a flourishing career. As perfect as everything appears from the outside, Zoe is still drawn to temptations she cannot escape or resist. As she pursues a secretive life, Zoe finds herself risking it all when she heads down a perilous path she may not survive.
Zane, also known as Kristina Laferne Roberts, has written many erotic stories and novels, some of which have inspired programs on Cinemax such as Zane’s Sex Chronicles. Addicted, a novel she wrote in 1997, is her best known work.
