Netflix has officially released the first trailer for Michael Fimognari’s To All the Boys: Always and Forever, as well as announcing a February 12th release date. This will be the third film in the franchise, which is based off of the book series of the same name by Jenny Han. When To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before was first released on Netflix in 2018, it became an instant hit, due to the sweet storyline and the chemistry between lead actors Lana Condor and Noah Centineo.
The film turned both Condor and Centineo into huge stars. The film follows Condor’s character Lara Jean Covey, who writes love letters to all the boys she’s loved in the past, with no desire to actually send them. When her sister mails out all the letters, her childhood crush Peter Kavinsky (Centineo) receives it, and the franchise follows their growing relationship.
Due to the success of the first film, a sequel, P.S. I Still Love You was released last February. Even before P.S. I Still Love You was released, Netflix confirmed that a third film was on the way, and the trailer was finally released. According to Screen Rant, the third and final installment in the franchise will follow Peter and Lara’s senior year, and will be available for streaming on Netflix right in time for Valentine’s Day.
