A mere week after Universal launched the website for Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World–to be released June 12, 2015–they are treating fans to the first teaser trailer for the rejuvenated franchise. The preview gives us small glimpse of the re-opened and upgraded dinosaur theme park, with futuristic pods replacing the original film’s Jeep Wranglers for the park’s interactive transportation. Also present in the clip are the franchise’s new stars, Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Bryce Dallas Howard (The Help), playing members of the park’s staff. Beyond these tidbits, the teaser reveals little of the plot– particularly the conflict, and how Vincent D’Onofrio’s villain will play into it– which has been kept securely under wraps during filming. The official trailer will be released in its entirety Thursday, November 27, when more questions about the film will hopefully be answered.
