First Look at ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’

Marvel has some highly anticipated films coming in 2025, including The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Filming started in late July, and Marvel has been keeping things pretty tight-lipped with this film–until now. Thanks to TheDirect.com, fans have just gotten their first look at  H.E.R.B.I.E., the Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics, featured in the film.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is an upcoming superhero film based on Marvel Comics’ iconic team, the Fantastic Four. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it will be the 37th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will mark the second reboot of the Fantastic Four film series. 

Directed by Matt Shakman, the film’s screenplay was crafted by an impressive writing team, including Jeff Kaplan, Ian Springer, Josh Friedman, Cameron Squires, Eric Pearson, and Peter Cameron. 

The casting lineup for The Fantastic Four: First Steps is shaping up to be very impressive. The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards with Vanessa Kirby starring as Sue Storm. Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will complete the team as Johnny Storm and The Thing. 

Additionally, Julia Garner will take on the role of Shalla-Bal, while Ralph Ineson will be the terrifying Galactus. We can also expect some exciting performances from Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and John Malkovich, whose roles remain undisclosed.
