In around two weeks the final installment of the Halloween franchise (as we know it) will be released. The final trailer for the movie Halloween Ends has been released and has fans excited to see Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Michael Myers face each other one last time after 40 years of fighting. Even though other films have hinted at the two’s showdown coming to an end, the parties involved both confirm that this is the last movie in the franchise with Laurie Strode.
Halloween Ends will feature Laurie Strode and Michael Myers fighting to the death, with only one of them coming out alive, reaching its petrifying conclusion.
Curtis has portrayed her role as Laurie Strode for over 40 years, which has created one of the longest actor-character pairings in cinema history.
When the franchise was relaunched in 2018, the movie Halloween broke box office records and became the franchise’s highest-grossing movie with the biggest opening weekend for a horror film starring a woman.
Halloween Ends will feature returning cast members. Will Patton will return as Officer Frank Hawkins, James Jude Courtney as The Shape, and Kyle Richards and Lindsey Wallace. The creative team will have new additions: Malek Akkad, Jason Blum, and Bill Bock as producers. The movie’s executive producers include John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green, Ryan Freimann, Ryan Turek, Andrew Golov, Thom Zadra, and Christopher H. Warner.
The movie Halloween Ends will be released in theaters and on Peacock on October 14th.
