Actress, director, and screenwriter Anne Heche is currently in critical condition following car accident. A car collided with a Mar Vista home Friday morning in Los Angeles, setting both the car and the house on fire. The driver was, reportedly, the Donnie Brasco actress who left the collision with burn injuries.
Officials have detailed that the car was traveling very fast through an intersection when Heche ran off the road and made impact with the suburban home. After the accident Heche was taken to a local hospital by paramedics for further medical treatment.
Meanwhile the flames from the aftermath of the crash had spread to the roof. It took the Los Angeles Fire Department over an hour to contain and put out the flames completely within the “heavily damaged structure”. Over 50 LAFD fire fighters were on the scene.
Though not confirmed to be Heche yet, it’s rumored that the actress is also responsible for a minor accident within an apartment complex parking lot earlier today. The accident consisted of a car crashing into a wall before fleeing the scene. This took place only a short while before the serious car-house wreck.
No statement has been made on Heche’s behalf at this time.
