On Thursday January 16, the cast and crew for the popular HBO television comedy-drama Entourage started principal photography for the series’ follow-up feature film, and stars Adrian Grenier and Jerry Ferrara and writer/director Doug Ellin wasted no time in starting to document the experience on Instagram.
For those who don’t know about the show, Entourage followed Vincent Chase (Grenier), a young A-list movie star, and his childhood friends from New York trying to make it in Los Angeles. Entourage originally started airing on July 18, 2004 and concluded on September 11, 2011 after eight seasons on HBO. Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson served as the show’s executive producers, and the show was loosely based on Mark Wahlberg’s experience as an actor in Los Angeles. The movie is expected to pick up from the series’ cliffhanger ending which saw one of its main characters offered a job as a major studio head.
