If you recently purchased your tickets for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in IMAX, listen up!
It is being reported that a 7-minute prologue for Christopher Nolan’s WWII epic, Dunkirk will be shown just ahead of Rogue One. Some speculate that the preview will only be shown in select IMAX theaters showing the film on 70mm, while others say it has yet to be determined where this preview will be attached.
It’s worth mentioning that special previews for Nolan films in the past have been attached nationwide in IMAX theaters. For example, a preview for The Dark Knight was shown before I Am Legend on all IMAX screens, while The Dark Knight Rises airplane sequence preview was only shown in cinemas showing the 70mm version of Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol. At this point, it’s a toss up, but one thing for sure is we are definitely in for a special treat.
