Dreamworks Animation Drops ‘The Bad Guys’ Trailer

Dreamworks Animation dropped the newest trailer for its upcoming crime comedy film The Bad Guys featuring the world’s most infamous gang of criminals. The crew’s individual introductions are reminiscent of classic heist cinema with the narration of their skills. First up is expert safecracker Mr. Snake, voiced by comedian Marc Maron. Next is the team’s hacker Ms. Tarantula, voiced by Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians). Then is muscle of the group Mr. Piranha, voiced by Anthony Ramos (In The Heights) followed by master-of-disguise Mr. Shark, voiced by Craig Robinson (The Office). Last but not least, we meet the team’s leader, who is the smooth-talking pickpocket Mr. Wolf, voiced by Sam Rockwell (Jojo Rabbit).

The Bad Guys is based on a series of graphic novels from Australian author Aaron Blabey. The first installment was released in 2015 and released its fourteenth back in October 2021. Its fifteenth is due for this year’s July. Ethan Cohen has adapted The Bad Guys into a film script and is best known for his work on Tropic Thunder and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, and he The Bad Guys director is award-winning short film Bilby and Le Building director Pierre Perifel.

The Bad Guys will be released this April 22, 2022. Check out its latest trailer below.
