Yesterday afternoon Paramount and Dreamworks released the first official trailer for Office Christmas Party.
Year after year we are blessed with holiday films that touch a special place in our hearts. We share and enjoy with our families, bringing us closer together during the holiday season. This year may be a little different. Office Christmas Party will combine the Christmas cheer with the absurdity when things are taken a little too far.
Office Christmas Party has an impressive comedic ensemble that promises to bring the laughs. Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, T.J. Miller (HBO’s Silicon Valley), and Kate McKinnon (Ghostbusters remake) are just a few of the heavy hitters set to take a swing in this Christmas comedy.
The film follows CEO Carol Vanstone (Aniston) as she tries to shut down the branch which is overseen by her crazed party animal brother Clay (Miller). In an attempt to save their careers, Clay and his CTO (Bateman) gather their co-workers for a once in a lifetime Christmas party in order to impress a possible client.
Office Christmas Party is directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck (Blades of Glory & The Switch). It’s clear that this directing duo knows comedy. But it doesn’t stop there; the story is from Jon Lucas and Scott Moore who brought us the hilarious Hangover series with a script written by Justin Malen and Laura Solon.
The list of talent goes on; Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), Jamie Chung (Premium Rush), Abbey Lee (Mad Max: Fury Road), Courtney B. Vance (American Crime Story: The People VS O.J. Simpson), and Jillian Bell (Workaholics) round out the cast.
Enjoy this gift of laughter below. Office Christmas Party will be in theaters December 9th.
