Disney had much to celebrate today, as D23 was on its way to present its future plans to fans of all ages. Kicking off the expo was the unveiling of the new Marvel park named Avengers Campus expected to open next summer. The new Avengers park will be first introduced at California Adventure at the Disneyland resort in California and Disneyland Paris.
With Galaxy’s Edge drawing in crowds by the thousands, Disney is looking to cash in with their own Marvel Cinematic Universe within the amusement park. They have announced a brand new interactive, immersive fan experience with all our favorite superheroes bringing the Disney magic to life. The picture below is the concept art revealed during the expo as you can see the potential layout within the park. Stark Industry building can be seen, as well as the Pym Laboratory and the Quinjet placed at the top right corner.
As news breaks out with the new projects announced for Disney Plus, there are endless possibilities of expansion for the new Marvel land. What also draws concern is the state of Spider-man as his use as a staple within the park can create setbacks, now that he is out of the MCU. Excitement is still high though, as many will be looking forward to the introduction of Avengers Campus next year.
