Zack Snyder (Man Of Steel) revealed a taste of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice over twitter yesterday, confirming a special Imax trailer event that will happen on April 20. With DC Comics moving into its first installment with multiple superheroes, the expectations are high and the trailer is only the beginning of what is sure to be a year’s worth of marketing materials leading up to the film’s March 25, 2016 release.

The teaser event will be fifteen minutes long and will include extra footage from the Man of Steel sequel, with an intro from director Zack Snyder.
In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) will be returning as Superman, but the most anticipated addition is Ben Affleck (Gone Girl), the latest man to play Batman. With famous predecessors such as Christian Bale, Michael Keaton, and George Clooney, Affleck has a reputation to live up to. The casting of Affleck was initially met with mixed reviews and some backlash, so this trailer event will be his chance to prove naysayers wrong – or right.
The other newcomer that many anticipate seeing a cameo of on April 20 is Lex Luthor, being played by Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network). Eisenberg is a younger choice from previous Luthors, such as Kevin Spacey (Netflix’s House of Cards), but the actor already has experience playing an unlikeable genius in The Social Network. The trick to his performance in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice could be turning unlikeable to evil.
