The new Despicable Me 3 trailer is officially out. The new movie will be directed by Kyle Balda, and Pierre Coffin. Eric Guillon, Ken Daurio, and Cinco Paul wrote the script. Balthazar Bratt, featuring the voice of Trey Parker from South Park, joins the franchise. In addition, Kristin Wiig (Bridesmaids, SNL) and Steve Carell (Crazy Stupid Love, The Office) reprise their roles as Lucy and Gru, respectfully.
The film first film which came out 2010, has spawned a multi-million dollar franchise for Illumination and Dream Works Entertainment. Minions, a spin-off from the Despicable films, was a billion dollar hit in 2015. This third movie will also feature those pesky minions, but Gru will be the main focus. Now that Gru is a good guy, he will face off against a villain who is obsessed with the character he played in the 80s. Dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Bad” and “Beat It.”
