With production commencing just last week, two new cast additions have been made to the upcoming R-rated comedy Rock That Body starring Scarlett Johansson. Demi Moore and Ty Burrell are the latest to join the raucous flick that already has Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer and Zoe Kravitz lined up. Paul W. Downs & Lucia Aniello co-wrote the film, with Aniello also serving as the movie’s director.
The film centers around five friends who get together for a wild bachelorette party in Miami. Things go from bad to worse when a male stripper ends up dead. As of now, it seems unclear as to what roles Moore or Burrell may play. Moore recently appeared in the indie drama Very Good Girls opposite Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen and will next be seen in Blind opposite Alec Baldwin and the drama Love Sonia. Burrell, a multiple Emmy winner for the hit comedy Modern Family recently provided his voice to the blockbuster Finding Dory and does so again in the upcoming animated feature Storks.
Sony won out on Rock That Body last summer in a bidding war. The film is set to rock theaters on June 23, 2017.
