Craig Conway has been acting since 1996 in a variety of films including action thriller The Tournament and horror thriller The Descent. He began his producing career in 2010, producing smaller films and shorts here and there. He will be making his directorial debut with the South African survival thriller Kruger, which will begin filming in South Africa in March, according to Variety.
The story will focus on a distraught family and their struggle to survive in the expansive and frightening Kruger National Park, which lies on the Northeastern corner of South Africa. What they will experience within the massive park has yet to be revealed.
Two film groups will be working together to release the film. Kaleidoscope Film Distribution and Goldfinch Studios have already begun preparations to put together the cast. Goldfinch Studios is handling the full financing of the film and most of the producing, with Conway and Kirsty Bell producing the film through Bird Box Studios, a Goldfinch Studios affiliate.
Conway has been quite busy as of late, starring in the crime thriller Mara and action film Final Score alongside Pierce Brosnan and Mike Bautista. He has been in talks to join the new Hellboy film directed by Neil Marshall.
