Chris Stuckmann’s Horror Film ‘Shelby Oaks’ Adds Mike Flanagan As Executive Producer

Filmmaker and critic Chris Stuckmann and Aaron B. Koontz of Paper Street Pictures have added Mike Flanagan as executive producer to the post-production of their horror film, Shelby Oaks. Other genre specialists such as Trevor Macy and Melinda Nishioka have also been added to the executive producing team.

Flanagan has worked on other films of the horror genre including Ouija: Origin Of Evil and Doctor Sleep

According to Deadline, Flanagan has stated, “It’s been inspiring to watch Chris working toward his dreams over the past few years, and the tenacity and DIY spirit he displayed while bringing Shelby Oaks to life reminded me so much of my own journey over a decade ago. It’s been an honor to walk a few steps with him on his path and to offer support for Chris’ vision for his ambitious, unique movie. I can’t wait to see where he goes from here.”

Shelby Oaks follows the story of Mia (Camille Sullivan) and the search for her sister, Riley (Sarah Durn) after her unexpected disappearance during the taping of the last episode of her series Paranormal Paranoids. Shelby Oaks is “A combination of documentary, found footage, and traditional film styles,” according to Deadline

The film also stars Keith David, Brendan Sexton III, and Michael Beach. The release date has yet to be announced.
