Po is back in the third installment of the highly successful Kung Fu Panda series, with an all-star voice cast. The panda finds himself confronted with his long-lost father in this new comedy.
As seen in the trailer, Po meets his father (in comedic fashion) and then heads to the family village of pandas, meeting his family for the first time. But when the villain Kai begins sweeping across China, defeating all kung fu masters, Po finds himself facing his greatest challenge yet: turning a whole village of clumsy, fun-loving pandas into kung fu masters like himself.
The voice cast is full of stars, including the main character’s voice, Jack Black. Starring alongside Black are Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross, Bryan Cranston, Rebel Wilson, and J.K. Simmons. Directing the movie are Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Charloni while Melissa Cobb is producing.
Kung Fu Panda 3 will be released in theaters on January 29, 2016, in 3D.
