Ahead of its March 17th opening, Disney has released the first teaser poster for its much-anticipated live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast directed by Bill Condon (The Twilight Saga) and starring Emma Watson (Regression) as Belle and Dan Stevens (Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb) as the Beast.
The central image is that of a rose enclosed in a glass dome. In the classic tale, the prince, who has been turned into a beast by an enchantress, must learn to love another and earn her love in return before the rose’s last petal falls. Otherwise, he will remain a beast forever. Check out the poster below:
The all-star cast also includes Luke Evans (High-Rise) as Gaston, Kevin Kline (Ricki and the Flash) as Maurice, Josh Gad (The Angry Birds Movie) as Lefou, Ewan McGregor (Last Days in the Desert) as Lumiere, Stanley Tucci (The Hunger Games franchise) as Maestro Cadenza, Ian McKellen (Mr. Holmes) as Cogsworth, and Emma Thompson (Burnt) as Mrs. Potts.
