Check Out the Official Trailer for ‘Frozen 2,’ Will Arendelle Remain Safe?

The trailer for the highly-anticipated animated Disney sequel Frozen II has just dropped.

Frozen II follows Elsa and Anna three years after the events of the first film as they learn about an enchanted forest that was besieged by a mysterious force. Soon, Elsa starts hearing a voice calling out to her and decides she must find the forest in order to help it. Once worried that her powers were too strong, now Elsa is asking whether her powers will be strong enough?

Check out the trailer below:

Much of the original cast is back, with Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell voicing Elsa and Anna respectively, and Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, and Santino Fontana returning to play Kristoff, Olaf, and Hans. New cast members include Evan Rachel Wood as the voice of Elsa and Anna’s mother Queen Iduna, and Sterling K. Brown as Lt. Destin Mattias, an inhabitant of the enchanted forest.

Frozen II is sure to be a hit because the first Frozen did so well at permeating American culture. If songs like “Let It Go” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” getting stuck in your head didn’t cement that fact for you, it made $1.276 billion worldwide at the box office. It would be astonishing if Frozen II doesn’t do as well. Disney seems to believe that there will be just as much interest, as they recently announced a companion docuseries for Disney+ titled Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2. Be on the lookout for that.

Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee have returned to direct the Frozen sequel. Lee also wrote the script along with Allison Schroeder. Peter Del Vecho is producer. The film will be released this year on November 22nd.
