A new international trailer has released for the upcoming science fiction adaptation High-Rise, starring Tom Hiddleston (I Saw the Light). The film is an adaptation of the 1975 novel by J.G. Ballard that follows class warfare on a high-rise tower where the rich live.
The film is directed by Ben Wheatley (Sightseers) and, along with Hiddleston, stars Jeremy Irons (Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice), Sienna Miller (Burnt), Elisabeth Moss (Queen of Earth), and Luke Evans (The Girl on the Train). Amy Jump, who previously worked with Wheatley on Sightseers, wrote the script.
We previously got a look at the movie when the studio released a fake advertisement for the building’s potential residents. This new trailer is much more traditional in that it gives us a lot more time with Hiddleston’s character as well as the film’s central conflict.
The movie has been making the rounds at festivals and is set to release in the U.K. March 18. No U.S. release date has been set. In the meantime, you can watch the trailer below.
