Fox has released a new trailer for the third installment in their successful Night at the Museum franchise. Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb uproots our hero, Larry (Ben Stiller), and his historical cohorts (and yes, Dexter the monkey, too!) and transplants them to the British Museum in London as they scramble to save the magic that brings them to life each night. The follow-up to 2006’s Night at the Museum and 2009’s Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian reunites Stiller’s security guard, Larry Daley, with some of our favorites from the first two films, including Owen Wilson‘s Jedediah, Ricky Gervais’ Dr. McPhee and Robin Williams‘ Teddy Roosevelt (sadly, this would be Williams’ last major feature before his untimely death earlier this year). The cast is joined by newcomers Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect 2), Rachael Harris, and Ben Kingsley (Exodus: Gods and Kings). Director Shawn Levy (This is Where I Leave You) returns to the helm for the third time. The film is set for a December 19th release.
