Out of the several movie trailers that premiered during Sunday’s Super Bowl, the most explosive and physics defying – next to the SFX-laden Insurgent spot – was undoubtedly the new teaser for Universal’s Furious 7, the next installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise, and the last to feature the late Paul Walker. The teaser features the franchise’s main players – Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and more – in clash of clans as Jason Statham seeks revenge for the death of his brother Ian Shaw (Fast & Furious 6’s baddie). The craziest part of the new footage comes in a scene where Diesel essentially flies a car from one skyscraper into another, managing to exit the vehicle before it crashes through the other side of the building. Next to exploding houses, intricate fighting sequences, and tricked-out cars, these elevated stunts are what keep fans coming back for more.
