

Searchlight Pictures has set a fall release date for the Bruce Springsteen Biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere. The film stars The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen during the production of his highly acclaimed 1982 album Nebraska. Jeremy Strong will co-star as Bruce Springsteen’s manager and record producer, Jon Landau. The rest of the cast includes Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, Paul Walter Hauser, Gaby Hoffmann, Johnny Cannizzaro, Harrison Gilbertson, Marc Maron, David Krumholtz, and Chris Jaymes.
The film is written and directed by Scott Cooper and is based on Warren Zanes’s book of the same name. Cooper and Zanes are producing the film alongside Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Eric Robinson. Both Springsteen and Landau are said to be heavily involved with the film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, record producer Dave Cobb, who has previously worked with Springsteen, is involved in the film’s music. The Hollywood Reporter also reports that Jason Isbell and Brandi Carlile are involved in the film’s music.
Deliver Me From Nowhere will be released on October 24th, putting it firmly in that early awards season release slot. Other movies releasing on that day include the Coleen Hoover adaptation Regretting You, Mortal Kombat 2, and Yorgos Lanthimos’s next film, Bugonia, starring Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons.
