Say his name three times, and the trailer will appear. The trailer for the anticipated Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has been released.
The new trailer shows that, following the death of her father, Lydia Deetz and her daughter Astrid return to their small Connecticut hometown to attend the funeral.
Upon returning, Lydia recalls her experiences with Beetlejuice, a poltergeist who claims to be helpful, but uses people for his own goals.
Winona Ryder returns to the film, joined by Catherine O’Hara and Michael Keaton, playing the titular ghoul. Newcomers to the film include Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, and Willem Dafoe.
As well as the new trailer, several new character posters were shown off. They showcased Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice with the characters played by Ryder, Ortega, Dafoe, O’Hara, Theroux, and Bellucci.
Tim Burton, director of the original Beetlejuice, is back helming the new installment. This marks Burton’s first directorial effort since 2019’s Dumbo. Burton also directed Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Batman, and many other films.
Deadline, who also reported on the new trailer, pointed out upon the release of the first teaser that the writers for the film include Miles Millar and Alfred Gough. The duo have worked together before on several projects, including Herbie Fully Loaded, and The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will be summoned into theaters on September 6th. Check out the trailer below.
