Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is getting an official podcast from Marvel Studios. The first episode will release Thursday, November 3, on major podcast platforms, including Apple and Spotify. The show is a collaboration between Marvel Studios and Proximity Media (Founder Ryan Coogler). Podcast will include Six episodes that will follow the movie’s release and give fans an inside into the process of making the film. The host will be Ta-Nehisi Coates, writer of the Black Panther Comic from 2016-2018. with Paola Mardo, Proximity Head of Audio, who will serve as executive producer. Ryan Coogler is also excited for fans to learn more about the process and behind-the-scenes of the long-awaited movie.

When speaking about Coogler and the upcoming Podcast, Coates said “There is no storyteller I admire more than Ryan Coogler,” he continued “Any chance to partner with him, Proximity Media and Marvel, is a worthy one. For that opportunity to be a chronicle of the making of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ was simply too good to pass up.”
Mardo commented “Ever since Ryan, Zinzi, and Sev entrusted Proximity’s Audio division with this project, our goal has been to tell the story of the making of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ with as much heart and authenticity as the film itself,” Mardo said in a press release. “With our premiere episode, we’ve accomplished this goal while breaking new ground in the process, thanks to the awesome collaboration between our incredible host Ta-Nehisi Coates, our talented podcast production team, and our collaborators at Marvel and Disney.”
