Best Friend Forever Picks Up ‘Peaches Goes Bananas’

Peaches Goes Bananas, a new documentary feature, has secured a sales banner. The company Best Friend Forever has landed the film. As Variety reports, Peaches Goes Bananas is just another title in their already sizable production slate. Some of their other titles set to release include Universal Language and Shambhala.

As the title of the film suggests, it follows an artist named Peaches, who left her already established life behind so she can forge a brand new path for herself in music. The film’s director, Marie Losier, comes from a long history of documentary filmmaking. Some of her past titles include The Ballad Of Genesis And Lady Jaye, about a duo of musicians, and Cassandro The Exotico!, about a prolific cross-dressing wrestler.

For Cassandro The Exotico!, Losier was involved with other aspects behind the camera, other than directing. She was the cinematographer and editor for Cassandro, as well as another of hers, Eat My Makeup!. She also worked on writing and sound for Cassandro.

The head of festivals for the company, Marc Nauleau, had a very positive outlook on their new project they were able to acquire. Reportedly, he even went so far as to describe it as a “beautiful encounter.”
