The special IMAX version of the Avengers: Endgame trailer was released this weekend in theaters with Aquaman and seems to have answered a few fan questions thanks to the higher definition and expanded aspect ratio.

One particular part of the trailer that was sparking some theories was the shot where Nebula puts her hand on someone’s shoulder, and in the first trailer that was released, it wasn’t clear whose shoulder that was. From the IMAX trailer with the larger aspect ratio, it reveals that it is Tony Stark that she was with, as they were left alone together in space at the end of Infinity War.

The location of this scene was also clarified, as seeing the ship blown up to larger size made some of the detailing visible, confirming that it is the Guardians’ ship the Benetar.

Another shot that gave away new details when expanded was of Natasha/ Black Widow in Japan, where in the IMAX trailer you can see that her braided hair style is longer than in the rest of the trailer footage. This may suggest a time jump somewhere in Endgame, which aligns with many existing fan theories deriving from other moments in the trailer.
