The remastered 4k HDR version of Avatar was re-released this week by Disney and Century Studios for that fans could watch “the way it was meant to be seen.”  The movie had huge success in the international box office grossing 20.5 million from 50 offshore markets with a total of 30.5 million altogether. Already the highest-grossing movie of all time, they hold number 1s in several markets currently.

Director James Cameron hopes that this re-release will gain momentum for the upcoming sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water. Avatar was only expected for a two-week engagement, but due to its popularity, it could possibly be in theaters for longer.

Warner Bros and New line’s,Olivia Wilde directed,  Don’t Worry Darling, grossed 30 million from weekend sales. Internationally the film made 10.8 in 61 global markets, the rest coming from domestic sales. The movie was number one in the UK,  3.1 Million, which most expected, but there are expected to be some drops, as the Harry Style hype dies down.

Following the Rom-com theme, Universal’s and Ol Parker directed  Ticket to Paradise is experiencing international success in its early offshore rollout. During its three weeks running the film has grossed 31 million, 11.1 Million from this most recent frame. The film is doing better than expected already projecting higher than The Lost City by 8%, even before the domestic rollout.
